Sets and reps are important, sure.
So is doing the right exercises progressively.
But the truth is, even on a great program, adult athletes have unique weaknesses that cause their technique to fail, and leave them stuck unable to progress further.
Areas like the Scapula, the Grip, and Shoulder Mobility need to be well conditioned, in addition to consistently following progressive overload.
Also, not everyone is a strong visual learner. Not everyone can just copy demo videos perfectly first time.
Often times, athletes can’t see the mistakes they’re making with exercises, until they’ve been pointed out with context thrown in.
This is why I’m not just offering you yet another program to follow, that you may or may not succeed with. I’m not leaving your success down to chance.
